Behavioral Wellness Leadership Collective

A confidential membership for women leaders in ABA who are tired of doing it alone.

Join the Collective

You can’t complain up. You can’t complain down.

Take a problem to leadership and you risk looking like you can’t handle the role. Take it to your team and it’s unprofessional. So it stays in your head, and you keep being the person everybody else brings their problems to.

You don’t need another quote about resilience, or advice to keep your head down until it passes. You need peers, and a room where being unsure is allowed.

Built for women in ABA leadership. Not for everyone in ABA.

Yes, this is you

✓You’re an emerging leader, supervisor, consultant, director, founder or executive

✓You want peers who understand the work without a preamble

✓You care about ethical practice and you’re still learning

✓You want tools you can use in a real situation next week

✓You want to be honest about the hard parts without it costing you

✓You’re interested in what other people have figured out

Probably not

—You want quick-fix answers

—You want a networking room where everyone performs competence

—You’re not willing to treat confidentiality as non-negotiable

—You want to consume content without applying any of it

Saying no to the wrong members is how the room stays safe for the right ones.

Every month moves through the same four steps.

One theme a month, one theme a quarter, so the year adds up to something instead of piling up.

Step 1

Learn

A monthly leadership workshop or continuing education session, built around what the group is actually wrestling with.

Step 2

Reflect

A self-assessment for the month's theme. Keep it private or share it in the community for feedback and encouragement.

Step 3

Apply

An implementation challenge and a Leadership Action Plan. One behavior or practice you will intentionally put in place.

Step 4

Connect

A monthly group call. Peer discussion, wins, problem solving and accountability with women who understand the work.

Yourself, then others, then systems, then sustainability.

October

Building psychological safety

For this group first, and then for the teams you lead.

November and December

Leading yourself

The Perfect Day exercise, your values, your why, sustainable wellness, boundaries, barriers and psychological flexibility.

January to March

Leading others

Difficult conversations, delegation, and building accountability and trust inside a team.

April to June

Leading systems

Culture, ethics, processes, quality indicators and decision-making frameworks.

July to September

Leading sustainably

Resilience, strategic planning, preventing burnout and reflection, so you can recalibrate for the year ahead.

What’s shared in the Collective stays in the Collective.

Every member agrees to this before they’re let in. It’s worth reading now, because it tells you exactly what kind of room you’d be walking into.

Curiosity over perfection. Collaboration over competition. Growth over judgment.

1

Lead with respect

  • Assume positive intention.
  • Disagree professionally.
  • Challenge ideas, never people.
2

Be curious

  • Ask questions.
  • Share experiences.
  • Offer your perspective rather than absolute answers.
  • None of us have all the answers. That is why the Collective exists.
3

Practice humility

  • Leadership is a lifelong learning process.
  • Everyone, regardless of title or years of experience, has something to contribute and something to learn.
4

Protect psychological safety

  • This is a space where members can discuss challenges honestly.
  • Respond with empathy.
  • Support growth.
  • Shaming and public criticism are not permitted.
5

Share responsibly

  • Remove identifying information.
  • Protect client, employee and organizational confidentiality.
  • Follow the BACB Ethics Code and all applicable laws.
6

Focus on application

  • The goal is not consuming information.
  • Each month, identify one behavior or leadership practice you will intentionally implement.

I will not share another member's story outside the community.

That includes screenshots, recordings, copied posts, identifiable situations and personal experiences shared by members, without that member's explicit written permission.

I understand that discussions are confidential.

What is shared within the Collective stays within the Collective. Apply what you learn. Do not disclose another person's experience or identity.

I will protect client and employee confidentiality.

When asking for support, remove identifying information and comply with the BACB Ethics Code, HIPAA where applicable, employer policies and applicable law.

I understand this is not legal or clinical supervision.

Discussions are for professional development and leadership growth. Members remain responsible for their own clinical, ethical, supervisory and employment decisions.

I agree to contribute respectfully.

Repeated disrespect, harassment, discrimination, breaches of confidentiality or actions that compromise psychological safety may result in removal from the Collective.

✓Live sessions may be recorded so members who can’t attend still get the content.

✓During discussion, you can keep your camera off or choose not to share.

✓Don’t share identifying information about clients, employees, organizations or families.

✓If a discussion gets sensitive, the recording can be paused or edited before it’s posted.
